Wednesday, June 21 - This month’s meeting will be at our Chapter hangar, the Bert Sisler Aviation Education Center (BSAEC) at Airlake Airport in Lakeville, MN.  Our presenter will be by Andrew Erickson.  Andrew and his father Kurt are relatively new members to our chapter and have been very active with the CH701 build and the Pietenpol build sessions. Andrew will present on his experience with drones and RC aircraft.

- Fundamentals for RC planes
- Fundamentals for multirotors
- How to get started with planes/ multirotors

Grill gets fired up at 6, meeting starts at 7. The Chapter will furnish the meat, buns, beverages, condiments, hardware and napkins. Bring a side dish to pass. A $5 donation is suggested to cover the cost. All aviation enthusiasts are welcome!

September 21 – Our Chapter meeting this month is Wednesday evening, September 21st, at BSAEC, our chapter hangar at Airlake. James Aarestad is giving on presentation on air-to-air cinematography. Grill on at 6, meeting starts at 7. The Chapter will furnish the meat, buns, beverages, condiments, hardware and napkins. Bring a side dish to pass. A $5 donation is suggested to cover the cost. All aviation enthusiasts are welcome!

June 15 – Chapter meeting at the BSAEC Hangar – Our speaker will be Mike Wilson who is the MAC’s Airport Manager for Airlake. He will join us to discuss and take questions on what’s happening and planned for the airport. EAA Chapter News Videos will also be viewed if time permits.

Grill is on at 6:00 pm, meeting starts at 7:00 pm. The Chapter will furnish the meat, buns, beverages, condiments, hardware and napkins. Bring a side dish to pass. A $5 donation is suggested to cover the cost. All aviation enthusiasts are welcome!

EAA Chapter 25 April Activities

April 20 – Chapter meeting at the BSAEC Hangar – Our speaker will be Jim Aarestad, an aerial photographer from Buffalo, MN. He has invented a gyroscopically stabilized camera system for his Cessna so he can shoot perfectly smooth air to air cinematography of other aircraft in flight. He will talk about this system and the business he started called Air to Air Cinema.

Grill is on at 6:00 pm, meeting starts at 7:00 pm. The Chapter will furnish the meat, buns, beverages, condiments, hardware and napkins. Bring a side dish to pass. A $5 donation is suggested to cover the cost. All aviation enthusiasts are welcome.

April 29 & 30 – MN Pilots Association Great Minnesota Aviation Gathering – This is the 3rd year. Ch. 25 will again be sharing a booth with Ch. 237. Ch. 237 will be displaying the nose section of a B-25 they are helping to restore for EAA Oshkosh. We are asking Ch. 25 members to bring parts of the airplanes you are building along with pictures of your projects. We are co-sponsoring a Young Eagles Rally on Saturday. Pilots and ground crew members are needed. Many volunteers are needed to make this a successful event. Contact Craig Nelson or Pat Halligan if you can volunteer. This is a big and fun aviation event. Let’s hear MN Pilots Assoc. President Randy Corfman comment that Ch. 25 REALLY stepped up to the plate to help make this year’s event a huge success.

March 16 – Chapter meeting at the BSAEC Hangar – Erich Bobka, a student in the Minnesota State – Mankato Aviation Dept. program will present on Mid-Air Collision Avoidance. Grill is on at 6:00 pm, meeting starts at 7:00 pm. The Chapter will furnish the meat, buns, beverages, condiments, hardware and napkins. Bring a side dish to pass. A $5 donation is suggested to cover the cost. All aviation enthusiasts are welcome.

March 19 – Young Eagles Event – Contact Kris Olson, Young Eagles Coordinator, if you can fly kids or serve as a ground crew member. She has a number of kids signed up to come.
