EAA Chapter 25

This month, we will be returning to BSAEC, our chapter hangar at Airlake, for a slide presentation by Pat Hoyt on this month’s cover story, he and Mary’s Australian Adventure. Grill on at 6pm, meeting starts at 7pm. Bring something to share!

We will hold our regular Young Eagle event the next Saturday May 21st. Let Bill know if you can help out.

Also, mark your calendars for our annual picnic Saturday June 18th!

This month, we are offering chapter members two choices for the monthly meeting Wednesday evening, April 20th.

The first choice is a tour of the MSP tower – the tower can only support a limited number, so please contact John Koser (see page 3 of the newsletter) before noon on Tuesday Apr 19 if you want to attend – John will finalize arrangements and let everyone know when to gather at the tower. See the map on page 3.

The second choice is to join the Piet builder group at BSAEC, our chapter hangar at Airlake at 6:30pm – the group will continue working on the Piet project for the evening. Contact Pat Halligan if you have questions – directions on page 3 of the newsletter.

Finally, because we had to cancel Young Eagles yesterday due to weather, Bill Brown has scheduled a Special Edition Young Eagles event on Saturday, May 14th – please contact Bill if you can volunteer. We will also be holding our regular Young Eagle event on May 21st.

Reminder: This month, we will meet at BASEC, our chapter hangar at Airlake, on Wednesday, January 19th – grill on at 6, meeting at 7pm. Please bring something to grill and something to share. The Piet group will have Pietenpol history and videos, and report on the group’s progress. They are also planning to bring the fuselage down to BSAEC for the meeting. Map and directions on page 3.

This month, we will meet at Villaume Lumber in Eagan for our regular meeting on Wednesday, November 17th at 7pm. Eat before you come, as no food will be provided. We will visit Dale Johnson’s CG-4A WWII Glider project. Map and directions on page 3.

Also, please mark your calendars for Dec 12th, 1-5pm, for the Christmas Party – Pat & Sandy Halligan have generously offered to host us this year! See page 6 for map and directions.

We will be flying young eagles Saturday November 20th at 9am. Contact Bill Brown if you can help.

Please note that the Christmas party on Dec 12th will replace our regular December meeting. Also, save this issue with Christmas party directions as the next On Final will not be until January.
