EAA Chapter 25 February, 2019 Activities

Filed under: Uncategorized — kjohnson at 1:29 pm on Friday, February 15, 2019

This month’s Chapter meeting is on Wednesday, 2/20/2019  - This month’s meeting will be at our Chapter hangar, the Bert Sisler Aviation Education Center (BSAEC) at Airlake Airport in Lakeville, MN. The presenter will be Mark Korin, owner of Alpha Systems AOA (angle of attack). The Alpha Systems produces an electronic AOA system utilizing a new pressure measurement technology which can be installed in most aircraft without any major modifications. They produce a full color Heads-Up-Display (HUD) so that real-time Angle of Attack can be seen when it is needed most, on top of the glare shield in the pilot’s peripheral vision. Mark is currently a VFR pilot, working on his IFR rating. Aside from work and flying, he makes time for another favorite hobby, inventing and making ideas into products. He is also Mayor of the City of Oak Grove, MN. Look up Alpha Systems AOA at: http://www.alphasystemsaoa.com.

The Chapter 25 grill gets fired up at 6 pm, a short business meeting will start at 7 pm with the speaker beginning at 7:30 pm. Bring a side dish to pass at the BBQ pot luck. The Chapter will furnish the meat, buns, beverages, condiments, hardware and napkins. A $5 donation is suggested to cover the cost. All aviation enthusiasts are welcome!
