Wednesday, April 18 - This month’s meeting will be at our Chapter hangar, the Bert Sisler Aviation Education Center (BSAEC) at Airlake Airport in Lakeville, MN. This month’s presentation will be Don Leedham. He built an Avid Magnum with straight floats specifically for flying to Alaska and the Northwest Territories for hunting and fishing. He has flown these trips many times and will discuss the planning necessary to take these trips on straight floats as well as share photos and his experiences.

Grill gets fired up at 6, meeting starts at 7. The Chapter will furnish the meat, buns, beverages, condiments, hardware and napkins. A $5 donation is suggested to cover the cost. Bring a side dish to pass. All aviation enthusiasts are welcome!

  • Friday & Saturday, Apr 27 – 28 – The Great MN Aviation Gathering – Golden Wings Museum, Anoka County-Blaine Airport, Blaine, MN Fri. 9 am to
    9 pm, Sat. 9 am to 4 pm. $10 per person per day or free if MN Pilots Association member.

Wednesday Evenings* – Ch. 25 Pietenpol Build Project - All Chapter 25 members are invited to come and work on the Ch. 25 Pietenpol Building Project. Learn the art and craft of building a homebuilt airplane from Ch. 25 members who have hours of experience building airplanes. We are working at Dale Johnson’s (MAHOF) shop. Contact Kim V. *unless notified otherwise and with the exception of the 3rd Wednesday of the month, which is Chapter 25 Meeting night.
