Filed under: Uncategorized — kjohnson at 2:46 pm on Tuesday, April 18, 2017

Wednesday, April 19 – This month’s meeting will be at our Chapter hangar, the Bert Sisler Aviation Education Center (BSAEC) at Airlake Airport in Lakeville, MN. The presentation will be by Stefan Hokuf from 3D Aeroscan. Stefan will do a live demonstration scanning parts in 3D and describe how this information can be utilized to reverse engineer parts and the work flow necessary to accomplish this task. He will also highlight other possible benefits of this technology. If you have a part that is no longer available, bring it to the meeting to have it scanned to see if 3D printing can be used to fabricate it with this new tool.

Grill gets fired up at 6, meeting starts at 7. The Chapter will furnish the meat, buns, beverages, condiments, hardware and napkins. Bring a side dish to pass. A $5 donation is suggested to cover the cost. All aviation enthusiasts are welcome!
