EAA Chapter 25

The March On Final is now available and can be downloaded here. Thanks to Ami Sela, John Koser, Kris Olson, Pat Hoyt, Don Eide, and Norm Tesmar for their contributions and assistance this month.

Reminder: our meeting this month (Wed, Mar 17th) is at Pat Hoyt’s home to visit his Zodiac 601XL project. Map and directions on page 3. Gathering at 6pm, please bring soda, chips and desserts to share.

Also please note: Saturday March 20th, we will start with Young Eagle flights at 9am and continue with our Annual Chili Feed at noon. Please bring a pot of your best chili to share along with cheese, crackers etc.

This month we’ll be meeting at Chapter 25 member Patrick Hoyt’s home to see the progress on his Zenith 601. Like last time, this will be an informal and relaxed atmosphere where people can feel free roam around the house and garage at will. Mary and Pat will cook up a batch of sloppy joes and provide the buns, plates, and utensils. Chapter members should bring sodas, chips, and dessert, etc.. to share.

1. Get to I-35E Southbound
2. Take Yankee Doodle Rd exit. Get in 2nd lane from the right.
3. Turn right onto “Yankee Doodle Rd”. (heading westbound)
4. Go straight through the first stoplight which is “Pilot Knob Rd”. Get into the left lane.
5. Turn left at the stoplight onto “Federal Dr”
6. Federal Dr becomes “Blackhawk Hills Rd.”
7. Bear right on Blackhawk Hills Rd
8. Turn left at “Blackhawk Lake Drive”
9. We are the 4th house on right. The house is tan and will have a Blue VW Jetta in the driveway. Then numbers “1620″ are in black numerals above the garage door and are easily visible from the street.
